Preface (ముందు మాట)
I am Shirin Sriram, film director and now producer of a movie titled ‘Preminchoddu’. It's a Pan-India movie made in 5 languages.In 2015 a team of 6 writers and I wrote a story of a Basti girl who falls in love with 2 boys, one boy is poor and another is rich. We narrated this story, in the same year, to Director/Producer Neelam Sai Rajesh. He told us that he would produce the film and hence me and my team worked with him for one year, in his ‘Amrutha Productions’ office. But he did not produce.
Later in the year 2023 he made a movie named ‘Baby".After thorough analysis, my team and I came to a conclusion that the same ‘Preminchoddu’(Working Title: ‘Kanna Please’) movie story has been stolen and modified to make this movie named ‘Baby’.

నా పేరు శిరిని శ్రీరామ్. నేను ఒక దర్శకుడిని . 'ప్రేమించొద్దు' అనే సినిమా నిర్మించాను. ఇది 5 భాషల్లో విడుదల అవ్వబోయే పాన్-ఇండియా చిత్రం. 2015 సంవత్సరం లో ఆరుగురు రచయితల బృందంతో ఒక సినిమా కథ రాశాను. ఒక బస్తీ అమ్మాయి ఒక బీద వాడితో మరియు ఒక ధనికుడితో ప్రేమలో పడుతుంది అనేదే కథాంశం. అదే సంవత్సరం దర్శకుడు/నిర్మాత నీలం సాయి రాజేష్ కి కథ చెప్పాను. అతను ఈ సినిమాని ప్రొడ్యూస్ చేస్తాను అన్నాడు. మేము అతని 'అమృత ప్రొడక్షన్స్' ఆఫీసులో సంవత్సరంకి పైగా పని చేశాం. కానీ అతడు ఇచ్చిన మాట నిలబెట్టుకోలేదు, ప్రొడ్యూస్ చేయలేదు. 2023 లో సాయి రాజేష్ 'బేబి' అనే సినిమాకి దర్శకత్వం చేశారు. చాలా రోజులు సమీక్ష తరువాత, మా 'ప్రేమించొద్దు'(మొదటగా పెట్టిన పేరు 'కన్నా ప్లీజ్') కథను తస్కరించి, మసాల పూసి, వాళ్ళ సొంత నమూనాగా తీర్చిదిద్దుకున్నారు అని నిర్ధారణకు వచ్చాము.

Friends Enquiring (స్నేహితుల అనుమానాలు)
When the Telugu movie ‘Baby’ released, I got a lot of messages and phone calls from friends . Confirming that the filmmakers lifted my movie storyline and remixed into their own version .
All these people are aware of my movie story and some of them even know that I worked with Amrutha Productions, owned by Sai Rajesh (Movie Director and Producer), as a Movie director for over one year.
Srujan Reddy is a Cinematographer, was supposed to do the Cinematography for my film, to whom i narrated the story for around 6 hours in the year 2015. He messaged me back after a long time , after watching Baby and expressed his pain
తెలుగు చిత్రం ‘బేబి’ విడుదల అయినప్పుడు నా స్నేహితులు చాలా మంది మెసెజ్లు మరియు ఫోన్ కాల్ చేశారు. నా సినిమా (ప్రేమించొద్దు) కథ స్నేహితులకు ముందుగా తెలియడం వలన, నీ కథను తస్కరించి, మసాల పూసి, వాళ్ళ సొంత నమూనాగా తీర్చిదిద్దుకున్నారు అని నాకు నిర్ధారణ చేశారు.
సాయి రాజేష్ సంస్థ ‘అమృత ప్రొడక్షన్స్' లో ఒక్క సంవత్సరం పైగా నేను దర్శకుడిగా పనిచేశానని కూడా నా ఈ స్నేహితుల్లో కొందరికి తెలుసు.
శృజన్ రెడ్డి అనే కెమెరా మెన్ నా సినిమాకి ఛాయాగ్రహణం చేయవలసి వుండేది, అందువలన నేను 2015వ సంవత్సరంలో సుమారు 6గం||లు నా సినిమా (ప్రేమించొద్దు) కథను అతనకి వివరంగా చెప్పాను. అతను చాలా రోజుల తర్వాత నాకు మెసేజ్ చేశాడు. బేబి సినిమాను చూసి ఎంతో బాధగా ఆవేదనచెందాడు. “సిగ్గులేకుండా కథలు దొంగిలించేవారికి ఇంకెప్పుడు నీ సినిమా కథని చెప్పద్దు!” అని నన్ను హెచ్చరించాడు.

Telugu Actress Gayathri Gupta messaged me the teaser of the film ‘Baby’ and spoke to me on phone. Gayathri has auditioned for my film for the lead role . Recently she has also seen the movie ‘Preminchoddu’.
Webseries Writer and Director Hareesh Nagaraj messaged me saying ‘Baby’ movie trailer concept looked similar to Preminchoddu movie storyline.

Director Sai Rajesh is unable to tell the interviewer where exactly he got the story of ‘Baby’ movie. In one particular interview he said that he had written the story in only 3 days and his movie screenplay was never ever written. Also says he wrote all the dialogues on the movie sets only. FLASH BACK 2015 (2015 సంవత్సరం)
సుమారు మార్చ్ - ఏప్రిల్ 2015 లో, నాతో షార్ట్ ఫిలిమ్స్ లో పని చేసిన డైరెక్టర్ రవి కిరణ్ రాజు,
తమిళనాడులో జరిగిన ఒక సంఘటన కి సంబంధించిన ఒక వార్తని చూపించడం జరిగింది. 'ఒక బస్తీ
అమ్మాయిని ఇద్దరు యువకులు తమను ప్రేమలో మోసం చేసింది అనే కారణంతో చంపారు' అనేదే ఆ
వార్త. అదే వార్త నా సినిమా కథ రాయడానికి ప్రేరణగా మారింది. నేను కేవలం ఆ కథ లో ఈ ఒక్క
ఘోరమైన సంఘటనను మాత్రమే తీసుకున్నాను కానీ, మిగితా సినిమా కథ అంతా నేనే అల్లాను.
దర్శకుడు రవి కిరణ్ కి ఈ కథ వ్రాయడం లో నాకు రెండు రోజులు సహాయపడ్డాడు. తరువాత తనకి ఉన్న పనుల వల్ల రాలేకపోయాడు. తదుపరి నేను, నాతో ఎప్పటి నుంచో పని చేయాలి అనుకునే జర్నలిజం విద్యార్థిని 'వైష్ణవి మౌనిక' ని కథా చర్చ కి ఆహ్వానించాను. తను నా సినిమాలో ఇప్పటికీ పని చేస్తుంది. మేము 60కి పైగా సన్నివేశాలను రాశాము.
ఈ సినిమా కి తాత్కాలికంగా "కన్నా ప్లీజ్" అని టైటిల్ పెట్టుకున్నాము. 'కన్నా' కి మీరు అర్ధం తీసుకుంటే, బుజ్జి-కన్నా బంగారు-కన్నా అని తెలుగు భాషలో మనం తరచుగా మనకి నచ్చినవాళ్లని ఆ పేరుతో పిలుస్తూ ఉంటాం. దీన్నే పాశ్చాత్య సంస్కృతి లో "బేబి" అని కూడా అంటారు. ఈ మధ్య మనకు సినిమాల్లో కూడా ఈ 'బేబి' అనే పదం బాగా వినపడుతుంది.
తరువాత నేను, నా రచయిత మరియు దర్శక స్నేహితులతో ఈ కథ సారాంశం చర్చించేవాడిని. 'కన్నా ప్లీజ్' అనే సినిమా టైటిల్ నమోదు చేయని కారణంగా నేను అందరికీ 'టీన్ మూవీ' అనే పేరుతో చెప్పేవాడిని. ఈ తరుణం లో దర్శకుడు సాయి రాజేష్ ని నేను బంజారాహిల్స్ లో 'రాక్ క్యాజిల్' అనే షూటింగ్ లొకేషన్ లో కలిశాను. (అతనితో నా ప్రయాణం గూర్చి తదుపరి పేజీలలో చెప్తాను)
నేను అతనికి సుమారుగా 60 సన్నివేశాలని వివరించాను. తను ఠక్కున క్యాచ్ చేసి "నేను ఈ సినిమాని ప్రొడ్యూస్ చేయాలి అనుకుంటున్నాను" అన్నాడు. అంతేకాకుండా తన మిత్రుడైన SKN అని పిలువబడే సినిమా నిర్మాత ద్వారా, తెలుగులో అతిపెద్ద సినిమా నిర్మాణసంస్థ అయిన 'గీతా ఆర్ట్స్'కి, ఈ కథని తీసుకెళ్తాను అని, హామీ ఇచ్చాడు. అప్పట్లో గీతా ఆర్ట్స్ వాళ్ళు తమ రెండవ సినిమా బ్యానర్ GA-2 ని మొదలుబెట్టబోతున్నారని, అందులో చిన్న సినిమాలకి అవకాశాలు తప్పక ఇస్తారని నమ్మబలికాడు.
It was around March-April of the year 2015 that I came across an article shared by Writer Director Ravi Kiran Raju , with whom I worked earlier for short films now available on Youtube . The article was from a Tamil Newspaper . That article was the foundation for my movie story . It was about how a ‘Basti’ girl from a very poor background was killed by 2 boys who were her friends because they felt she cheated on them. I first informed Ravi Kiran Raju that I want to take this story line and develop my own story out of this . This story I am going to write will not be similar to what happened in that brutal incident but shall only be a starting point for my story .
Ravi Kiran Raju liked the idea and helped me in the story discussion for 2 days , later he couldn't come to the story discussion for his personal reasons .
Then I invited ‘Vaishnavi Mounika’ , a journalism student who always wanted to work in my movie . She still continues to work in my team . We finished writing 60 plus scenes .
We gave a temporary Working title as “Kanna Please” . ‘Kanna’ in Telugu means a SweetHeart or a loving partner whom you treat like a Baby.
Then I started discussing the story idea with close friends who are writers and directors , but I never used to tell anyone the Working title ‘Kanna Please’. So I used to tell friends that I was working on a ‘Teen Movie’.
In this process I met Director Sai Rajesh at a place called Rock Castle in Banjara Hills , Hyderabad.

I narrated him roughly 60 scenes and he immediately told me that he would like to produce the film and also take one of his friend named SKN’s help to get support from Geetha Arts a very prestigious Telugu Production house , who were then coming up with a new banner GA 2 productions which is set up to encourage new talent and new scripts

I made an Announcement on a Social Media platform
that I am working with ‘Amrutha Productions’
owned by Director and Producer Sai Rajesh ,
on a Teen Love Story based on true incidents.
True incident refers to the main incident that I saw in the News Article,
which happened in the state of Tamil Nadu.
Note, I even gave a hint “Big Movie Production House”.
It refers to Geetha Arts film production and distribution company .

After the Movie announcement on 13 May 2015 we released a poster on 26 May 2015, inviting actors and assistant directors to join our Teen Movie Project . You can see the Amrutha Productions Logo on the top left corner of the Poster .
13 మే 2015న సినిమా తీస్తున్నాము అని ప్రకటించిన తరువాత 26 May 2015 న, ‘అసిస్టెంట్ డైరెక్టర్స్’, ‘యాక్టర్స్’ కావలెను అని ప్రకటన ఇచ్చాం. పోస్టర్ ఎడమవైపు పైన "అమృత ప్రొడక్షన్స్" చిహ్నాన్ని చూడవచ్చు.

My Direction team of 6 people and I used to go to Amrutha Productions at least 5 days a week, and Update the story to the so called Producer Sai Rajesh, once a weekI have a practice of writing the Story scenes on a white board . This board is attached on the wall of Amrutha Productions office, in the room exclusively meant for our teen-movie Script works . Around 70 scenes can be seen on the white board and
same day another email containing some finished scenes text files .
నేను నా దర్శకబృందంలో ఆరుగురు అమృత ప్రొడక్షన్స్ ఆఫీసుకి వారంలో కనీసం ఐదు రోజులు వెళ్లే వాళ్ళం. వారానికి ఒకసారి సినిమాకథని సాయి రాజేష్ కి 'అప్డేట్' చేసే వాళ్ళం.
నాకు కథలో సన్నీవేశాలను తెల్ల-పలకపై వ్రాసే అలవాటు ఉంది. కింది ఫొటోలో కనిపించే తెల్ల-పలక అమృత ప్రొడక్షన్స్ ఆఫీస్ లో తీసినదే. ఈ గది కేవలం నేను తీసే సినిమా కోసం కేటాయించబడింది. పలక పై 70 సన్నివేశాల వరకు వ్రాసి ఉన్నాయి .

Division of work .
Assigned different works to my Direction team. Take a look at the task related to “Names” assigned to Vaishnavi . The task is to identify if there are any similarly sounding names and how many times each name repeats.Naming the top most important characters took at least 5-7 days per character. It has not been an easy task like Telugu movie Baby, where the characters' names have been named after the actors' names respectively. Our team of writers is not that lazy.
మా పని తీరు : ఇదీ నేనూ-నా బృందం పని చేసే తీరు. ఒక్క పేరు సినిమాలో ఎన్నిసార్లు వినపడాలి, ఎన్ని సన్నివేషాల్లో వినపడాలి అనేంత సూక్ష్మంగా పని చేస్తాము. ‘బేబి’ సినిమాలోని నటుల పేర్లే, పాత్రలకు పేర్లుగా పెట్టారు. నేనూ, నా దర్శకబృందం పాత్రలకు కూడా పేర్లు పెట్టలేనంత బద్ధకస్థులం అయితే కాదు. ఒక్కో ముఖ్యమైన పాత్ర పేరు పెట్టడానికి సుమారు 5-7 రోజులు పట్టేది.

Auditions

We have also done Acting Auditions for the Teen movie at Lamakaan Cultural Place located at Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.Over 200 actors attended the Auditions.
It was an Audition call for actors , conducted under the film banner of Amrutha Productions . Poster shows clearly who is the Producer and who is the Director.

How is Geetha Arts, a Pan-India film production company, involved in this ?
గీతా ఆర్ట్స్ అనే అతి పెద్ద సినిమా నిర్మాణ సంస్థ ఇందులో ఎలా భాగస్వామ్యం అయిఉంటుందా అని ఆశ్చర్యపోయాను!
When I first narrated the story to Director/Producer Sai Rajesh , he liked the story so much that he immediately told me that he would like to produce the film and also take one of his friend named SKN’s help to get support from Geetha Arts a very prestigious Telugu Production house , who were then coming up with a new banner GA 2 productions which is set up to encourage new talent and new scripts .
I made an Announcement on a Social Media platform that I am working with ‘Amrutha Productions’ owned by Director and Producer Sai Rajesh. And also added the phrase “Big Movie Production House”. It refers to Geetha Arts film production and distribution company

After I finished the first draft of my Teen Movie Script , Director/Producer Sai Rajesh fixed an appointment, at Geetha Arts Film Production Office, with another film producer .I narrated my Teen Movie Story to that new Producer in the office of Geetha Arts located in Nandagiri Hills, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, on 20th October 2015 . Time around 2pm to 5pm for 1 and half hours .

Before I went to Geetha Arts I informed Cinematographer Srujan Reddy and Filmmaker Ravi Kiran about the story narration .You can see my conversation with Srujan Reddy and Ravi Kiran, they were asking me repeatedly about the story narrating experience .
Even though my story narration experience was not so great and the Producers kept on delaying the Project I never bad mouthed about them. I maintained a sense of decency .

The poster concepts were also lifted .
On 27 Oct 2015 one friend of mine sent me a photo mail
in which I saw a lot of scribblings on paper.
I asked her what she sent.
She said that whenever she is frustrated
she does such scribblings on the paper.
Based on this idea I tried some poster concepts.
I see this same wall scribbling concept on ‘Baby’ movie poster.

Director Sai Rajesh is known in Telugu film industry for making Spoof films. So naturally he has a habit of lifting ideas from other movies and he proudly boasts in his interviews that he remixes others films into his own version. This time he has crossed all limits by stealing ideas from an unreleased film.
SPOOF Definition : a funny and silly piece of writing, music, theatre,movie etc. that copies the style of an original work.

We designed another concept poster.It has 2 hands of a girl showing her ring finger of each hand . Each finger has a ring gifted by two boys, portraying confusion the girl is going through.
Was this Poster concept lifted and modified later by the Baby movie filmmakers? Yes, it seems so .
మేము ఇంకో పోస్టర్ ఐడియా తయారు చేశాము. అందులో ఒక అమ్మాయి రెండు ఉంగరపు వేళ్ళకు రెండు ఉంగరాలు ఉంటాయి. ఒక్కో ఉంగరం ఒక్కో అబ్బాయి ఇచ్చినది కనుక, ఆ అమ్మాయి గజిబిజి ఆలోచనలో ఉంటుంది అనేది ఆ పోస్టర్ కి సారాంశం.

On 29 June 2023 the filmmakers of Baby released a poster, which is probably the worst poster in the history of Telugu Cinema. It is so distasteful and sexist, no woman in this world would support such an image. This portrays the dangerous mindset of the filmmaker and his interest in his ideology of objectifying a woman. Concept of the poster is a Middle finger inserted into a girl’s frock. See it yourself .

The Baby movie team intentionally created a distasteful poster for publicity and played a drama in a press meet later, that they were feeling sorry for releasing such an unpleasant poster which insults a woman’s modesty . But this was a lie . Because later the director Sai Rajesh himself shared the same poster on his Instagram account story on 25 August 2023 , implying that he himself is endorsing the same Vulgar Poster of Baby.

Proud Moment
This post on a Social Media Movie Page named TOLLYMASTI is not anyway
related to these leaks.
But when our team saw this post we were all proud.
Because it gave us a morale boost .
We felt that the film we made will help the
Telugu Cinema take one step forward in whichever small way it can,
will make every Telugu person proud after watching our film and
also make them proud that we made this in 4 other languages
On the other hand the makers of Baby have made a
shameful act by stealing a story and also
making a cringe movie and thus took Telugu Cinema many steps back.

As I said, on 13 May 2015, I made an Announcement on Social Media platform that I am working with ‘Amrutha Productions’ owned by Director and Producer Sai Rajesh , on a Teen Love Story based on true incidents . I thanked filmmaker Ravi Kiran for joining my story discussion for just 2 days. I felt it was my responsibility.Many film personalities congratulated and wished for my success. I will always be thankful for them.

After realising that I will never get producers for my film, in the year 2017, I deleted the above post on Facebook App. But suspecting the Baby movie producers I saved the screenshots in my gmail.
I changed my movie working title from “Kanna Please” to “Preminchoddu”

నా సినిమా పేరుని 'కన్నా ప్లీజ్' నుంచి 'ప్రేమించొద్దు' గా మార్చాను .

The last message .
After the auditions in the month of March, next in April 2016 director Sai Rajesh vanished from his office for many days, not giving any updates about our movie. We were trying to contact him. Wanted to ask when our movie shoot would start.Generally i call on phone directly but for the first time ever I messaged him through WhatsApp on 2 May 2016. I didn't get any reply about our meeting for 25 days. I never understood this. A person who said he would produce our movie and let us work on a movie script in his office for over one year, suddenly disappears and doesn't even have one day time to meet us, even though he lives in the same city.
Finally I decided to quit the place and messaged him last on 27 May 2016 .
This is the last message, after that No contact. After a few years he deleted me from his Facebook Friends list for no reason.
Only once Sai Rajesh spent some money for the Auditions, that's all.
In this one year I did not take one Rupee from him , all the expenses for my direction team of 8 people were borne by me and my associate director Srinivas.

ఒక్కసారిగా మాయం అయిపోవడం ఏమిటో! అదే నగరంలో ఉంటూ,
మాతో మాట్లాడడానికి ఒక్కరోజు కూడా అతనికి తీరిక లేకపోవడం ఏమిటో,
అంతా అనుమానాస్పదంగా అనిపించింది.
చివరకు, 27 మే 2016న అమృత ప్రొడక్షన్స్ ని వదిలి వెళ్ళాలి అని నిర్ణయించుకున్నాను.
ఇది నా చివరి మెసేజ్. తరువాత నేను ఇంక ఎప్పుడు అతన్ని కలవలేదు.
సాయి రాజేష్ ఒకే ఒక్కసారి నటీనటులను ఎంపిక చేసే 'ఆడిషన్స్' కార్యక్రమానికి ఖర్చుపెట్టాడు.
అది తప్ప నేను ఉన్నంత కాలం ఒక్క రూపాయి కూడా తీసుకున్నదిలేదు.
8 మందితో కూడిన నా దర్శక బృందం కి సంబంధించిన
ఖర్చులు అన్నీ నేనూ మరియు నా సహాయకదర్శకుడు శ్రీనివాస్ భరిస్తూ వచ్చాము.

Hurting momentThe public reaction to the way the character of the girl was portrayed hurted me a lot .
Because of Baby filmmaker's insensitive writing, people reacted to the Basti Girl
character very violently by hitting the posters with slippers. It's distasteful to my
senses .

బాధ కలిగించిన క్షణం
విభిన్న 'రివ్యూస్' వచ్చినా కూడా ప్రజల స్పందన మాత్రం శృతి మించింది. అమ్మాయి 'క్యారెక్టర్' ని
'యూట్యూబ్ రివ్యూస్'లో దూషిస్తుంటే నాకు బాధేసింది. చాలా సున్నితంగా ఆలోచించి బస్తీ అమ్మాయి పాత్రని నేను తీర్చిదిద్దాను. కానీ బేబి సినిమా తీసినవాళ్లు అమ్మాయి వ్యక్తిత్వాన్ని నీచంగా దిగజార్చడం వల్ల కొందరు ప్రేక్షకులు దానికి విపరీత రీతిలో స్పందించారు. ఇంకొందరు చెప్పు దెబ్బలతో 'పోస్టర్' పై దాడి చేశారు. ఇది నాకు జుగుప్స కలిగించిన విషయం. నా దర్శకబృందంలో వైష్ణవి మరియు సోనాలి ని, రెండు సినిమాల్లోనూ ఒకే పోలికలతో ఉన్న కొన్ని సన్నివేశాలని వెతకమని చెప్పాను…. చూడండి..

Past Relation and the Back stab
Mahesh Kathi, a filmmaker and film critic, introduced me to Director/Producer Sai Rajesh. At first they wanted me to do cinematography for a Telugu film titled Hrudaya Kaleyam . I liked the concept of the film but I said I might not be doing the Cinematography because I was not yet fully skilled and ready.Later they moved on and Sai Rajesh directed an Intro Trailer which did not get the result as he expected . When I met Mahesh Kathi on the same day of the Trailer release he told me that Director Sai Rajesh was feeling depressed because of the poor response for his teaser . Then it's me who promised that I would make a slightly better Trailer than the earlier one and told not to worry.
I directed, shot and edited the trailer in one to two weeks .We released the trailer at my home. When the Intro Trailer released it got 5 lakh views in 3 days which is a great number in the year 2013 . Soon the Trailer crossed 1 million views and got the attention of many big personalities from the Telugu film industry.
Sai Rajesh went on shooting his movie and after it finished he came back to me and requested me to edit the next Trailer. Again I obliged to his request and edited a new trailer, which again got good attention from people. I introduced Music Director Kamran to Sai Rajesh through this trailer. He later worked on Background score for 2 of Sai Rajesh’s films. Kamran also has given the Background Score for my movie ‘Preminchoddu’.
For both trailers of ‘Hrudaya Kaleyam’ I did not take any money.
గత పరిచయం మరియు వెన్ను పోటు
దర్శకుడు మరియు సినిమా విశ్లేషకుడు మహేష్ కత్తి నాకు దర్శకుడు/నిర్మాత సాయి రాజేష్ ని పరిచయం చేశారు. వాళ్ళు తీసే హృదయ కాలేయం అనే సినిమాకి ఛాయాగ్రహణం చేయమని అభ్యర్థించారు. “నాకు సినిమా సారాంశం నచ్చింది, కానీ నేను చేయలేను ఎందుకంటే నేను ఎప్పుడూ ఒక సినిమాకి ఛాయాగ్రహణం చేయలేదు, అంత పట్టు నాకు లేదు” అని చెప్పాను.
తరువాత సాయి రాజేష్ ఒక ట్రైలర్ ని తీశాడు. అది అనుకున్నంత ఫలితాన్ని ఇవ్వలేదు. అదే రోజు నేను మహేష్ కత్తి ని కలిసినప్పుడు ఈ విషయాన్ని చెప్తూ దర్శకుడు సాయి రాజేష్ 'డిప్రెషన్' గా ఫీల్ అవుతున్నారు అని చెప్పారు. అప్పుడు నేనే స్వయంగా కలిపించుకొని మాట ఇచ్చాను. బాధపడొద్దు, నేను అంతకన్నా కొంచం మంచి ట్రైలర్ నే తీసి ఇస్తాను అని.
నేను ఈ కొత్త ట్రైలర్ కి దర్శకత్వం, ఛాయాగ్రహణం మరియు ఎడిటింగ్ చేసి ఇచ్చాను. మా ఇంట్లోనే ఈ ట్రైలర్ రిలీజ్ చేశాము. అది రిలీజ్ ఐన మూడు రోజులకే 5 లక్షల 'యూట్యూబ్ వ్యూస్' వచ్చాయి. 2013లో అది చాలా గొప్ప విజయం. త్వరగా ఆ ట్రైలర్ 10 లక్షల వ్యూస్ కూడా దాటి, చాలా పెద్ద తెలుగు సినీ ప్రముఖుల కంట పడింది.
సాయి రాజేష్ తన సినిమా షూటింగ్ అయిపోయాక ఇంకో ట్రైలర్ చేసి ఇవ్వమని అభ్యర్ధించారు. వారి అభ్యర్ధనని మన్నించి నేను కొత్త ట్రైలర్ ని ఎడిట్ చేశాను. దానికి మళ్ళీ ప్రజల నుంచి మంచి స్పందనే వచ్చింది. ఆ ట్రైలర్ ద్వారా 'కామ్రాన్' అనే సంగీత దర్శకుడిని సాయి రాజేష్ కి పరిచయం చేశాను. సాయి రాజేష్ తదుపరి రెండు సినిమాలకి కామ్రాన్ నేపధ్య సంగీతాన్ని అందించాడు. నా సినిమా 'ప్రేమించొద్దు' కి కూడా నేపధ్య సంగీతం కామ్రాన్ అందించాడు.
'హృదయ కాలేయం' సినిమాకి చేసిన రెండు ట్రైలర్లకి నేను ఒక్క రూపాయి కూడా తీసుకోలేదు.

Director/Producer Sai Rajesh thanked me through a social media post.
In his words he said :
“It will be a big mistake if I don't thank two people Shirin Sriram and Kamran. I will be indebted to Shirin Sriram for making the trailer. He doesn't have any need to help me but he worked day and night for me. I want to thank Kamran for the background music”
Maybe from that day he was preparing for the backstab, so he was using those big words .

Director/Producer Sai Rajesh told me not to use Telangana accent
When I was working on my Script in Amrutha Productions I told Producer Sai Rajesh that I want to write the dialogues in Telangana accent as I am from Telangana I am comfortable writing in a Telangana accent and the Story is set in the backdrop of Telangana Basti. But he denied saying, not every person might understand the Telangana accent. However in the Baby movie he used the Telangana accent for many of the Lead characters .In 2017 I rewrote the entire script in the Telangana accent .
తెలంగాణ భాషలో రాయొద్దు అన్నాడు
నేను అమృత ప్రొడక్షన్స్ లో నా ఈ సినిమా కథ మీద పని చేసేటప్పుడు నిర్మాత సాయి రాజేష్ కి చెప్పాను, డైలాగ్స్ అన్ని తెలంగాణ యాస లోనే రాస్తాను అని. నేను తెలంగాణ పౌరుడిని కాబట్టి తెలంగాణ యాస లో సునాయాసంగా రాయగల్గుతాను. కథ కూడా తెలంగాణ బస్తీ నేపథ్యంలో జరుగుతుంది అని చెప్పాను. కానీ తెలంగాణ యాస అందరికి అర్ధం కాదు అని తిరస్కరించాడు. మరి 'బేబి' సినిమాలో ముఖ్య పాత్రలకి తెలంగాణ యాస ఎందుకు వాడాడో చెప్పగలరా??

Understanding Teenage psychology is a tough nut to crack. If we make a small
blunder, it might ruin the characterizations in the movie. So I did extensive research
on the psychology of teen students, visited many government Intermediate and
polytechnic colleges and interacted with students.
యుక్తవయస్సులో ఉన్న వారి మనస్తత్వం అర్ధం చేసుకోవడం కత్తి మీద సాము లాంటిదే. కథలో చిన్న తప్పు జరిగినా, దాని ప్రభావం పిల్లల మీద పడి చెడిపోయే అవకాశం ఉంది. అందుకే నేను ప్రభుత్వ
ఇంటర్మీడియట్ మరియు పాలిటెక్నీక్ కళాశాలలకి వెళ్లి మరీ విద్యార్థులని కలిసాను. మృదువైన
మనస్తత్వాలున్న పిల్లలకీ, వారి తల్లిదండ్రులకీ, చాలా సున్నితంగా తెలియజెప్పడానికి నా శాయశక్తులా ప్రయత్నించాను.
But director Sai Rajesh took a shortcut route. He has done zero research, has zero
empathy for teenagers and zero empathy for a debut film team genuinely trying to
make a good movie. He assassinated the girl’s character in his movie story to
provoke the sensitive emotions of the audience. This is the formula he chose to get
maximum attention and viewership.
Only people who lack creativity in writing genuine scenes depend heavily on cheap characterization and vulgar language and that's what he has done in his film ‘Baby’
కానీ దర్శకుడు సాయి రాజేష్ ఏ మాత్రం పరిశోధన చేయకుండా తప్పుడు మార్గాన్ని ఎంచుకున్నాడు. తన సినిమాలో ముఖ్యపాత్ర అయిన అమ్మాయి పాత్ర వ్యక్తిత్వాన్ని ఎంత దిగజార్చితే తన సినిమాకి అంతగా ప్రచారం దొరుకుతుంది అని భావించాడు. సృజనాత్మకత లోపించిన వాళ్ళే ఇలా దిగజారుడు పాత్రలని సృష్టిస్తారు, అసభ్యపదజాలాన్ని వాడుతారు. 'బేబి' సినిమా లో అదే చేశారు.
Film industry in India works many times on trust. It might be surprising for some
people but that's the fact. There are some works where there is no paperwork
involved but people blindly trust and crores worth of work is done only based on
mere trust. I sent my full movie to 3 other states for dubbing. Tamil Nadu, Karnataka
and Kerala. In this digital generation it's not a big task to steal the ideas from my
movie or leak the digital copy of the film. But I can proudly say that I have never
faced such incidents. There are 100s of film production companies where very young post-production technicians, lab assistants, and VFX artists work. They handle huge
volumes of digital film data with high responsibility and trust.
సినిమాపరిశ్రమ నమ్మకం మీద నడుస్తుంది. కొంతమంది కోట్లలో వ్యాపారం కూడా ఏ పత్రం లేకుండా

Director of the ‘Baby’ movie broke this trust. From now it will be tough to identify whom to trust and whom not to trust in the film circles. When people come to know about this incident how will aspiring directors and writers ever dare to tell their stories to producers? Just think once.
The whole film industry takes a unanimous stand on film piracy. I feel Story-Stealing is the real matter of concern and a more dangerous issue than film Piracy.

సినీ పరిశ్రమ ఎప్పుడూ 'పైరసీ' భూతం గురించి గొంతు చించుకుంటూ ఉంటుంది. 'పైరసీ' ఒక భూతం అయితే 'కథలు-దొంగిలించడం' అనేది ఒక మహమ్మారి రోగం. దీన్ని 'లాక్-డౌన్' చేయకపోతే, భవిష్యత్తు దర్శకుల, రచయితల సున్నితమైన సృజనాత్మకతకే ప్రమాదం.
As a filmmaker my job is to spend maximum time on improving my creative skills.
But this Case is exhausting for me and it will take a lot of time for me to get my
creative energies back.
I feel that no director or writer should become a victim of such conspiracy. Those
who hatch such conspiracies are highly insensitive. An insensitive person can never
be creative. Incidents like these can damage genuine creative minds causing
depression, anxiety, stress and can be suicidal .
Strict punishment must be given to such people or else they can steal more original
stories, make more destructive films which are harmful for the society and for the film industry too.
నా కథని నేను ఎలా చెప్తే ప్రేక్షకులు ఆకర్షితులు అవుతారో మరియు దర్శకత్వంలో ఉన్న మెళుకువలు నేర్చుకొని ఎలా ఆచరించాలో అనేదే ఒక దర్శకుడిగా నా వృత్తిధర్మం. కానీ ఇలాంటి వివాదాస్పదమైన విషయాలని తప్పని సరి పరిస్థితుల్లో నా నెత్తిన వేసుకుని అలసిపోయాను. మళ్ళీ తిరిగి అంత శక్తిని నింపుకొని ఇంకో కొత్త కథ మీద పని చేయాలంటే చాలా సమయమే పట్టేలాగా ఉంది.
నాకు వచ్చిన ఈ పరిస్థితి ఇంకముందు ఏ దర్శకుడికి కానీ రచయితకి కానీ రాకూడదు. 'బేబి' దర్శకుడు చేసిన ఈ దుర్మార్గపు చర్య వల్ల ఒక కొత్త దర్శకుడి భవిష్యత్తు నాశనం అవుతుంది అని ఒక్క క్షణం కూడా తను ఆలోచించలేదు.
ఇలాంటి కథా-కుంభకోణాలు చేసేవారు చాలా మొద్దుబారిన మనస్కులయ్యి ఉంటారు. ఒక మొద్దుబారిన మనసున్నవారికి ఎప్పటికీ సృజనాత్మక హృదయం ఉండదు. ఇలాంటి సంఘటనల వల్ల నిజమైన ప్రతిభ కల్గినవారు మానసికఒత్తిడికీ, ఆందోళనకీ గురవుతారు. అవి విపరీత పరిణామాలకు దారి తీస్తాయి.
కఠినశిక్షలు పడకపోతే, ఇతరుల మేధోసంపత్తి దొంగిలించడం అనేది, సర్వసాధారణమైన విషయమే అని వీళ్ళు నమ్ముతూ ఉంటారు. మరిన్ని చెత్త సినిమాలు తీస్తూనే ఉంటారు. ముఖ్యంగా ఇది సమాజానికి మరియు సినిమాపరిశ్రమకి చాలా ప్రమాదకరం .

It took lot of time and patience for the Collection of evidence.
ఆధారాలు సేకరించడానికి చాలా ఓపిక మరియు సమయం పట్టింది.
I took advice from friends and well wishers for a while before revealing this scam to public.
చాలా మిత్రుల దగ్గర సలహాలు సూచనలు తీసుకున్నాను.
I am not against the movie cast and crew, and in no way I want to ruin their success celebrations.
నేను ఆ సినిమా నటీనటులులకు గాని సాంకేతిక నిపుణులకు గాని వ్యతిరేకం కాదు. వారి విజయ వేడుకలను చెడగొట్టడం నా లక్ష్యం కాదు.
Not only collecting evidence, I also have my movie works to do.

Before the release of 'Baby' movie I was doing test screenings of my movie
PREMINCHODDU to various movie production houses and well-wishers. After
‘Baby’ was released I had to stop all my Test screenings, for the fear that people
might ask “why both the films have so many similar scenes”. It took a while for us to mentally recover .
'బేబీ' సినిమా విడుదల అవ్వకముందు నేను 'ప్రేమించొద్దు' సినిమాని కొన్ని సినిమా నిర్మాణ సంస్థలకు మరియు నా శ్రేయోభిలాషులకు "టెస్ట్ స్క్రీనింగ్" చేస్తూ ఉన్నాను. 'బేబీ' సినిమా విడుదల అయిన తరువాత నేను అన్ని టెస్ట్-స్క్రీనింగ్స్ ఆపేయాల్సి వచ్చింది. Wolf of Manikonda 'పరేషాన్' దర్శకుడినే పరేషాన్ చేశిండు…పాపం :(
Rupak Ronaldson is the director of the comedy movie PARESHAN . We studied in the same film school. He directed another movie named Kobbari Matta, Written and produced by Sai Rajesh .
This movie Work was going on in the first floor of the same office situated in Manikonda.
We were working for the movie Story of PREMINCHODDU.
Rupak always promotes ‘Pareshan’ as his debut movie, but not ‘Kobbari Matta’. Because of the horrific experience he had with the producer. Rupak worked there not just for 2 or 3 months but for more than 4 years, as a movie director. Finally when the movie was released Sai Rajesh himself declared the movie as a hit, and even now wherever he goes . Rupak asked to pay 1 lakh rupees finally after 4 years. Just to give you a clear picture this amount is just 2000 Rupees per month (for USA friends its just 25$) Sai Rajesh never paid a single rupee. This is the respect and value Sai Rajesh gives for a movie director.

In the month of August 2023 Shirin Sriram told me that his movie PREMINCHODDU has been plagiarised by the director of Telugu movie ‘Baby’ which released in the month of July . I did not believe that much as he just explained the incident in a superficial way. I asked him why it took one month for him to tell me. He explained that his team was in a state of shock as this kind of incident has never happened to them and they did not know how to react to such incident.

అతను నాకు జరిగిన సంఘటనను పూర్తిగా వివరించి చెప్పలేదు. కాబట్టి నేను పెద్దగా నమ్మలేదు.

Later Shirin Sriram took 3 months to collect all evidence to support his argument. In the month of November 2023 he showed me his collection of evidence. After seeing those evidences even I got shocked for a while as I am not only an advocate , I am a filmmaker too and I understand a filmmaker’s pain and how much they work hard day and night with their writing team to construct a story and also I always had full faith in director Shirin Sriram’s skills since a long time .

In the month of December 2023 my Legal team sent a notice to Sai Rajesh
(aka Steven Shankar) the Director of telugu Movie ‘Baby’ and film Producer SKN (Sreenivasa Kumara Naidu), in which we mentioned that my Client Shirin Sriram has narrated a story of a Teenage Basti girl who falls in love with 2 boys , movie with working title Kanna Please (which later was renamed to PREMINCHODDU) to Director/ Producer Sai Rajesh Neelam, in the year 2015 . Sai Rajesh told that he liked the story and agreed to Produce this Teen Film. Director Shirin Sriram worked in Sai Rajesh’s Amrutha Productions office for one year with his team of 6 people . Also Shirin Sriram narrated this story to the producer of ‘Baby’ movie, named ‘SKN’ at the prestigious Film Production house of Geetha Arts office on 20th October 2015 around 2Pm to 5pm for more than 1 hour. Later after conducting the auditions of actors for this film, director Sai Rajesh was suspiciously absconding when Shirin Sriram was trying to contact him . Finally in May 2016, Shirn Sriram and his writing and direction team of 6 people left Amrutha productions office, leaving a Whatsapp message to Sai Rajesh to which he replied positively . They never called each other after that and cut to year 2023 Sai Rajesh and producer SKN released a Telugu movie named Baby which is copied and Vulgarly modified from the same innocent Basti girl story that Shirin Sriram narrated in the year 2015.

సాయి రాజేష్ నీలం కథ నచ్చిందని తెలిపారు . ఈ టీన్ ఫిల్మ్‌ని నిర్మించడానికి అంగీకరించారు. తన 6 మంది టీమ్‌తో ఒక సంవత్సరం పాటు దర్శకుడు శిరీన్ శ్రీరామ్ సాయి రాజేష్ అమృత ప్రొడక్షన్స్ ఆఫీస్ లో పనిచేశాడు.
అలాగే శిరిన్ శ్రీరామ్ 20 అక్టోబర్ 2015న మధ్యాహ్నం 2 గంటల నుండి సాయంత్రం 5 గంటల వరకు ప్రతిష్టాత్మక గీతా ఆర్ట్స్ ఆఫీస్ ఫిల్మ్ ప్రొడక్షన్ హౌస్ లో 1 గంట కంటే ఎక్కువ సమయం ఈ కథను ‘ఎస్‌.కె.ఎన్’ అనే ‘బేబీ’ సినిమా నిర్మాతకు వివరించాడు . ఈ చిత్రానికి సంబంధించిన నటీనటుల ఆడిషన్స్ నిర్వహించిన తరువాత దర్శకుడు సాయి రాజేష్ అనుమానాస్పదం గా పరారీలో ఉన్నాడు. శిరిన్ శ్రీరామ్ అతనిని సంప్రదించడానికి ప్రయత్నించారు.

In the month of January 2024 we got a reply from Sai Rajesh’s legal team denying all
the statements we made, calling our intentions baseless and malicious, threatening to file civil and criminal defamation cases on my client Shirin Sriram. Not knowing how to react to our legal notice and that he might be held liable for copyright infringement, Director Sai Rajesh Neelam came up with a new game plan to divert and escape this case . Director Sai Rajesh through his legal team says that he himself conceptualised the story idea about a young girl falling in love with two individuals, then narrated it to my client Shirin Sriram. Later entrusted Shirin Sriram to writing of a story in Amrutha Productions, that is the office of Sai Rajesh.

TRUTH: Number of pages does not determine the magnitude of material copied. Infact single paper of Movie Scenes is enough to steal the soul of the story and make another movie.

TRUTH : No Business ever happened So no point in mentioning ‘Business relationship’. Shirin Sriram is a very stable person . He has undergone film training in film school. He understands the highs and lows in the creative field very much.

On February 8th we lodged a complaint in the Police station of Rai Durgam, Cyberabad, Telangana State. Complaint was against the director and producers of Telugu movie Baby on offence under section 420 r/w 109, 102 (B) IPC and Sec 63 of Copyright Act -1967 with the ingredients of Cheating and Criminal Conspiracy. On February 28th Police have sent us a Notice U/sec.91/160 Cr.P.C. to submit

Since it leaked into the Media, to avoid false narratives my Client went into few News channels only for one day to clarify the false narratives that are circulating. And till date he tries to maintain his calm because, we have full faith in the Legal System .But the Director and producer of ‘Baby’ movie from January onwards started to malign and threaten Shirin Sriram by writing lengthy letters to various film chambers and associations

ఫిబ్రవరి 8వ తేదీన తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రం సైబరాబాద్‌లోని రాయ్ దుర్గం పోలీస్ స్టేషన్‌లో ఫిర్యాదు చేశాము. తెలుగు సినిమా 'బేబీ' దర్శక, నిర్మాతలపై ఫిర్యాదు చేసాం . సెక్షన్ 420 r/w 109, 102 (B) IPC మరియు సెక్షన్ 63 కాపీరైట్ చట్టం -1967, మోసం మరియు నేరపూరిత కుట్రకు సంబంధించిన అంశాలతో కేసు నమోదు చేశారు . ఫిబ్రవరి 28న పోలీసులు మాకు U/sec.91/160 Cr.P.C నోటీసు పంపారు. మా ఫిర్యాదుకు మద్దతుగా డాక్యుమెంటరీ సాక్ష్యం మరియు కేసు వాస్తవాలతో బాగా పరిచయం ఉన్న సాక్షులను తయారు చేయండి అని సూచించారు
ఫిర్యాదు చేసిన 2 రోజుల తర్వాత మీడియాకు క్రైమ్ రిపోర్టర్ల ద్వారా న్యూస్ లీక్ అయింది. ఆ క్షణం వరకు నా క్లయింట్ శిరిన్ శ్రీరామ్ ఈ సమస్య గురించి ఎక్కడా మాట్లాడలేదు. మీడియా మరియు అతని చాలా సన్నిహిత శ్రేయోభిలాషులతో కూడా మాట్లాడలేదు. మీడియాలోకి లీక్ అయినప్పటి నుంచి తప్పుడు కథనాలను నివారించడానికి నా క్లయింట్ కొన్ని వార్తా ఛానెల్‌లలోకి కేవలం ఒకే రోజు వెళ్ళాడు. ఇప్పటికి కూడా తాను సంయమనం తోనే ఉన్నాడు. న్యాయ వ్యవస్థపై మాకు పూర్తి విశ్వాసం ఉంది.
కానీ జనవరి నుంచి ‘బేబీ’ సినిమా దర్శకుడు, నిర్మాత, శిరీన్ శ్రీరామ్ పై పలు ఫిల్మ్‌ఛాంబర్‌లు,
అసోసియేషన్‌లకు సుదీర్ఘ లేఖలు రాస్తూ బెదిరించడం మొదలుపెట్టారు.

narrated by Shirin Sriram to you (Sai Rajesh) , and you promised him that you
would produce his film but later failed to produce. In 2023 you released a
Telugu Movie named ‘Baby’ whose story was essentially stolen and modified
version of the same story earlier narrated to you by film director Shirin Sriram
